Our Vision

Love, Mend, Train, Send

At NCC we believe it’s essential that every person experiences the love of God and in turn will love each other and others. We know that according to the Bible, God is a healing God therefore, we desire each person to know God as their healer. We provide opportunities for Him to transform lives through His healing power.

Training and equipping is so important. We offer classes that will train up believers to overcome and walk in their destiny.

We also know how important it is that each person is sent into the world to make a difference for the Kingdom of God. Whether it’s marketplace ministry, mission overseas or in our backyard, going into the highway and byways is essential to spreading the Gospel. We are a multi-cultural church comprised of white, black, and Hispanic folks. Equally so, we are socio-economically diverse and generationally diverse. We love our Senior population and thank the Lord for the wisdom they carry.

New Covenant Church

What We Believe

is a divine person of God sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer and convict the world of sin, judgement and righteousness.

is the fully inspired Word of God, the only infallible rule for faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:15

was created in the likeness and image of God and, yet, entered into a fallen state of sin through the rebellious acts of the first man, Adam and Eve. All men, being born from Adam, are born separated from God in this fallen state of sin and must be reconciled to God.

reconciliation of man to God has been provided for, once and for all, through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those who repent of their sin, accept by faith this sacrifice and are born of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life and are restored to fellowship with God.

it is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. Also included are the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit as depicted in scripture.

is the literal and visible return of Christ to earth and the consummation of His kingdom.

consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed by His blood sacrifice and are born of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church; which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness and preach the gospel to all nations. The body of believers in Christ in a local assembly are those who gather together for worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and the observance of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Communion).

We believe that ministry gifts were given to the Church which are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the Body of Christ to carry out the work of the ministry of the gospel.

for the body, soul and spirit was provided for by the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

are to be given to the local church to which a believer is connected and receiving spiritual nourishment and support. We recognize 10% of our income as the biblical standard of tithe while gifts and offerings are considered above and beyond that standard.

begins at conception and is due the right to sanctity of human life.

exists only between a man and a woman.

including adultery, fornication, and homosexuality… are not sanctified by God as acceptable human sexual practices or lifestyles. The person engaging in these behaviors is practicing a sinful act against God and His precepts, just as any other sinful act as described in the Bible, and is in need of the cleansing act of repentance and the restoration of the soul and spirit by the love and mercy of God.

God has called New Covenant Church to be a non-denominational church. We are not opposed to denominations as such, only to any denominational emphasis on traditions that may supersede the explicit teachings or implicit principles of Scripture. Our founding pastor, Rev. James Armstrong declared that NCC is to be a lighthouse to show the voyagers of the world the safe harbor. We are to be a center to equip the Saints for ministry in the world. And we are to be a launching pad for thrusting us out into the fields which are ripe for harvest.
